So I’m reading this story right, it’s joke about an atheist and God. So the atheist is in the water, he’s in the ocean, far away from his boat and he’s swimming to the boat and all of a sudden he looks back and he sees a shark. So he starts making his way back to the boat a little bit faster, when he takes a look back again, the sharks barreling towards him pretty fast so he ups the pace. frantically ring to get to the boat a takes another look back and he sees the shark almost up on him, listen he could see the teeth of the shark, so he screams out “Dear God, save me!” All of a sudden everything comes to a stand still, time just stops and a light shines on him. God says, “You’re an atheist you don’t even believe in me, why are you asking for my help?” The atheist sits back and thinks about it and says, “You know what, you’re right, can you make the shark believe in you?” So God says, “Alright”, the light goes away, everything slowly goes back to time, he continues his escape, but as he turns back around to assess the situation he sees the shark stop, bow his head, and say “Dear Lord, bless this meat that I’m about to eat”. Hahaha, It’s crazy and funny, but you know what? God answered his prayer. He told him exactly what he wanted and God gave it to him. And that’s what God does in your life. Don’t ever think that the worst thing that you have done has separated you from God and that God won’t listen to you. He will listen to every prayer of a broken and contrite heart, Psalms 51:17. The Bible in Romans 8:38-39 says, “That nothing can separate you from the love of God.” Nothing can separate you from Him. He's listening, just be careful what you ask Him for...
